Study: Nearly 70% of People Plan to Spend Less on Easter this Year than Last

Adrian, MI – With Easter Sunday around the corner, the personal-finance website WalletHub has released its annual Easter Survey, which found that nearly 7 in 10 people are planning to spend less on Easter this year compared to last year.

Here are some other key statistics:

  • 61% of Americans expect inflation to affect their Easter spending this year.
  • Nearly 3 in 10 people think Easter-related expenses are worth going into debt for.
  • 42% of Americans don’t have a budget for Easter.
  • 41% of Americans don’t feel confident about their finances heading into the spring.
