Adrian, MI – Members of the Boys & Girls Club of Lenawee will host a youth-moderated candidate forum for Adrian City Commission Candidates later this month.
All six candidates running for three open Adrian City Commission seats have confirmed their participation in the event. Candidates include Mary Roberts, Bradley Watson, Joaquin Ramos, Thomas Faulhaber, Robert Behnke & Matt Schwartz. Additionally Allen Heldt, candidate for Mayor, will join in the conversation.
Adrian’s incumbent Mayor Angie Sword-Heath is not able to participate in the event as she will be representing the city on a trip to Adrian’s Sister City, Moriyama, Japan.
The forum format will involve introductions followed by questions prepared and presented by Boys & Girls Club youth. Each candidate will have 1 minute to answer each question. This event will allow local youth to learn more about city government and leadership.
The public is encouraged to attend the event at 6pm on Monday, October 23rd to hear from candidates & youth.
