City of Adrian Reminds Residents of Lawn/Weeds Height Rules

Adrian, MI – With mowing season upon us, the City of Adrian is providing residents with information about their ordinances regarding tall grass and weeds. Any weeds or grass that reach a height of 8 inches are considered a public nuisance.

Weeds and grass that are permitted to attain a height of eight inches on any property may be cut, removed or destroyed, and a minimum cutting fee to cover the costs associated with enforcement of $160 or the actual costs, whichever is greater shall be billed to the owner of the property.
