Lenawee County Veteran Treatment Court Seeks Mentor Volunteers

Lenawee County, MI – The Lenawee County Veteran Treatment Court is seeking Veteran Mentor volunteers.

Veterans Treatment Court is a non-adversarial, post-sentencing and problem-solving program. It works toward helping justice-involved veterans with substance use and/or mental health conditions.

The Veteran Mentors would serve a variety of roles including: coach, facilitator, advisor, advocate, sponsor, and supporter. The Mentor volunteer would encourage the veteran to participate in court, in treatment and to make sound decisions as they progress through court.
