Lenawee County, MI – The League of Women Voters Tecumseh/ Lenawee County chapter will host a Town Hall Presentation at Adrian District Library on Wednesday, November 29, focused on Michigan’s new voting rights.
In November of 2022, Michigan voters passed Prop 2 which improves the security of our elections and protects the rights of all eligible voters in Michigan. Our State Constitution has been amended to include the provisions of Prop 2, which include: early voting, a permanent mail voter list, improvements to absentee voting, voter identification, military and oversees ballots, election integrity, charitable contributions, and the fundamental right to vote.
The League of Women Voters Town Hall Presentation will discuss all of our new voting rights and how they affect Michigan voters. The presentation will take place on Wednesday, November 29 at 6:30 pm at the Adrian District Library, located on East Maumee Street, downtown Adrian.
This free, informative event will be presented by LW members; Mindy Dunn and Shelley Lim.
