
Adrian, MI – Energy providers have been making some progress with the current power outages in Lenawee County.
As of early Saturday morning, 56.4% of all Consumers Energy customers were without power in the County…down from 60.7% Friday night at around 9pm.
There are currently just over 24,000 Consumers Energy customers without electricity, according to the online outage map.
Midwest Energy & Communications reports that about 250 customers remain without power in southeast Michigan and northern Ohio. The majority of the outages are here in Lenawee County.
Restoration efforts will continue through the weekend. Customers may experience blinks or short outages as crews work on repairs.
DTE Energy customers in northeastern Lenawee County are dealing with outages as well…with 109 customers without power in Macon and Tecumseh Townships as of early Saturday morning. Friday night, there were over 1,000 without electricity.
