Hudson, MI – Hudson Area Schools went into a lockdown Tuesday morning because of a man trespassing on school property.
The school district said that just before Noon, staff at Lincoln Elementary observed a man walking on to school property…the same individual that caused the district to initiate a lockdown last week.
The school immediately went into lockdown, and within minutes Hudson Police arrived on the scene and had placed the person in custody. The person was again trespassing, but did not have a weapon, did not make any verbal threats, and did not act out in any threatening manner toward staff, students, or Hudson Police.
Hudson Area Schools will be seeking legal action.
The District said that there were rumors of an intruder at the High School/Middle School … those rumors were not true according to Hudson Police.
