Drugs and Firearms Seized from Palmyra Township Home

A search warrant executed by RHINO resulted in seized drugs and several firearms.

On Tuesday, January 7th at approximately 10pm in the 3600 block of Meyers Highway in Palmyra Township, officers seized 32 grams of cocaine, 28 grams of crack cocaine, one .22 caliber-style assault rifle, two .38 caliber revolvers, one .357 caliber revolver, one FN 5.7 millimeter semi-automatic pistol and one .40 caliber semi-automatic pistol.

As of Wednesday morning, one of the hand guns returned as stolen. Inquiries have been made regarding the other weapons through the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. Several hundred dollars in currency was also forfeited.

Two fugitives were arrested on outstanding warrants out of Lenawee County. One suspect was arrested on charges of possession with intent to deliver. Additional charges are pending.
