The DTE Energy Foundation has announced that it will provide grants to all state-approved domestic violence shelters across Michigan in recognition of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
The support provided by the DTE Foundation will be used by organizations to increase the number of families that can be helped and enhance programs to help survivors rebuild their lives.
Domestic violence shelters to receive grants include these local organizations:
- Family Counseling and Children’s Services in Adrian
- SafeHouse Center in Ann Arbor
- Brand County Coalition Against Domestic Violence in Coldwater
- Domestic Harmony of Hillsdale
- DOVE, Ironwood AWARE in Jackson
- Family Counseling and Shelter Services of Monroe County
