ADRIAN — Lenawee County will celebrate National Intern Day on July 30 with a full day of events recognizing college interns working across the county.
Organizers say the event will include a service project, lunch, recreation and networking activities, guest speakers, and opportunities for interns to connect with employers and community leaders.
The event is free for interns and participating employers through local sponsorships. Organizers are also planning an additional intern networking event June 11 in downtown Adrian.
Registration is now open for interns, employers, and sponsors.
The effort is coordinated by a committee including the Greater Lenawee Chamber of Commerce, Adrian College, Lenawee County, and other local partners.
