ADRIAN — Residents in Lenawee County will have an opportunity to begin clearing eligible criminal records during the Lenawee County Expungement Fair on Friday, May 22.
The event runs from noon to 4 p.m. on the third floor of the Lenawee County Courthouse.
The fair is hosted by the Lenawee County Bar Association in partnership with Safe & Just Michigan and Legal Services of South Central Michigan. Organizers say legal professionals and trained volunteers will help attendees determine eligibility, answer questions, and complete paperwork related to expungement.
Clearing eligible records can improve access to employment, housing, and educational opportunities. Pre-registration and pre-screening are encouraged.
