TECUMSEH — Lenawee County officials say criminal charges are being pursued after vandalism at the former Tecumseh Products site in Tecumseh.
During last week’s Physical Resources Committee meeting, county maintenance officials said Tecumseh Police recently apprehended suspects accused of damaging the property. Officials say the individuals admitted to breaking windows and causing other damage inside the facility.
The county recently took control of the former manufacturing site through the Lenawee County Building Authority.
Maintenance officials said crews have already begun boarding up damaged areas to prevent additional access while the investigation continues.
