ADRIAN — Students in Adrian will take part in a schoolwide aerospace education event Thursday through a partnership with Civil Air Patrol and SkyWalker Aviation.
Prairie Elementary students will be participating in this year’s schoolwide aerospace learning event Thursday through a partnership with Adrian Public Schools, the Adrian Civil Air Patrol, and SkyWalker Aviation.
The ACE Lift-Off program runs from noon until 3:20 p.m. at Prairie Elementary and the Adrian Civil Air Patrol building at Lenawee County Airport.
Students in kindergarten through fifth grade will rotate through grade-level lessons focused on science, technology, and aviation.
Organizers say the Aerospace Connections in Education program gives students hands-on learning experiences tied to future careers.
