PALMYRA — The Happy Family of Palmyra is waving once again after being vandalized earlier this year.

The popular roadside mannequin display along U.S. 223 drew widespread attention in March after figures were damaged and stolen. The case prompted community support and fundraising to help rebuild the longtime local attraction.

This week, photos posted to the Happy Family of Palmyra Facebook page showed the display restored with new figures back in place.

Organizers said more tweaking is still needed, but the family has officially returned. The display has become a familiar landmark for drivers passing through Palmyra Township.
