ADRIAN — Gleaner Life Insurance Society is inviting Lenawee County residents to exchange worn or weathered American flags for new ones ahead of Flag Day and Independence Day celebrations.
The free flag exchange will take place Wednesday, June 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. outside Gleaner’s Home Office at 5200 West U.S. 223 in Adrian. Residents may exchange one old flag per person for one new flag.
Organizers ask anyone planning to participate to register by June 5 at GleanerLife.org/FlagExchange so enough flags are available.
Donations will also be accepted to support Habitat for Humanity’s Veterans Build Fund.
