TIPTON — Tipton Community Church is inviting the public to celebrate a major milestone this fall.
The congregation will mark 190 years of worship and community service with a special anniversary service Sunday, September 13, at 10 a.m. at the church on Tipton Highway.
Church history traces its founding to 1836, making it one of the area’s oldest congregations.
Organizers are also encouraging former members, families and anyone with ties to the church to attend and share memories of Tipton’s past.
