
TIPTON — Lenawee County residents will have a chance to celebrate Earth Day with a hands-on event later this month.
Hidden Lake Gardens in Tipton is hosting “Planting for Tomorrow” on Thursday, April 23rd from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The event will feature a community tree planting ceremony focused on sustainability and environmental stewardship.
Local scouting troops will help plant native trees and shrubs, highlighting their role in air quality, wildlife support, and climate impact.
The event also marks the Gardens’ centennial year, symbolizing long-term investment in conservation.
The event is free and open to the public.
