TIPTON — Volunteers are being invited to help clean up a stretch of highway near Hidden Lake Gardens later this month.
The Friends of Hidden Lake Gardens will host an Adopt-a-Highway cleanup along the M-50 corridor on April 18, running from 9:15 to 11 a.m.
The event is open to anyone 12 and older, with those under 18 required to be accompanied by an adult.
Organizers say no experience is needed and all supplies will be provided, with volunteers encouraged to dress for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes.
Participants should meet at the main entrance and follow parking directions on site.
Additional cleanup dates are scheduled for July 20 and September 27.
