Adrian, MI – Adrian Public Schools has announced that Business Manager Dan Peña has earned the Chief Financial Officer Certification from the Michigan School Business Officials organization. The MSBO certification program provides school business officials with focused training.
Participants gain essential knowledge about laws, regulations, and procedures relevant to Michigan schools, enabling them to manage financial responsibilities effectively. The program also supports ongoing professional development, ensuring that participants remain informed throughout their careers.
Superintendent Nate Parker commended Peña, stating: “Dan’s achievement of this certification is a testament to his dedication and focus. He has quickly adapted to his role and continues to strengthen the financial operations of Adrian Public Schools.”
Pena joined the district in March 2023 and pursued this program to enhance his expertise in school business finance.
