
Adrian, MI – 759 Siena Heights student athletes earned a 3.15 GPA in the fall semester of 2023. Leading the way in the classroom was the women’s cross country team with a 3.70 GPA, followed by women’s bowling team with a 3.69 GPA, and the women’s lacrosse team with a 3.67 GPA. Rounding out the top five was the women’s soccer team with a 3.64 GPA and the men’s cross country team with a 3.49 GPA.
Nine of the ten women’s teams earned a 3.0 GPA or higher with an aggregate GPA of 3.43. Seven of the eleven men’s teams earned a 3.0 GPA or higher. The men’s track & field team slotted in behind the men’s cross country team with a 3.43 GPA followed by the men’s volleyball team (3.23), the men’s bowling team (3.21), and the baseball team (3.20). The aggregate men’s GPA was a 2.99.
With the co-ed sports, the dance team led the way with their 3.34 GPA. The Esports team earned a 3.08 GPA, and the Cheer team earned a 2.83 GPA.
The 759 student athletes maintain a 3.20 cumulative GPA for their careers. Leading the way by program is the women’s soccer program with a 3.61 GPA followed by the women’s cross country program with a 3.59 GPA. The women’s lacrosse program holds a 3.56 GPA and the men’s cross country program carries a 3.56 GPA.
The women’s golf program rounds out the top five with a 3.52 cumulative GPA. The softball program has the fifth highest women’s GPA with a 3.50 GPA. Rounding out the top five men’s programs are the men’s track & field program with a 3.37 GPA, the baseball program with a 3.26 GPA, the men’s golf program with a 3.25 GPA and the men’s lacrosse program with a 3.13 GPA.
