Lenawee County Enters Into Energy Feasibility Study

Adrian, MI – The Lenawee County Personnel Ways and Means Committee voted, 6-3, to move forward with an energy feasibility study…including lighting upgrades to LED, and the possibility of using solar energy at county properties Tuesday morning.

The company the group decided to go with has worked with the County in the past, explains Administrator Kim Murphy…

 

Administrator Murphy outlined the work that could be done…

 

The three Commissioners that voted against awarding the feasibility study…Dustin Krasny, Nancy Jenkins-Arno, and Kevon Martis… said that they would have preferred that they would have used the bidding process.

The final approval was on the agenda for today’s Board of Commissioners meeting today. It was approved, 6-3.
