De’Angelo Boone Named 2023 Norma Dell “Courage to Care” Award Recipient

Adrian, MI – De’Angelo Boone has been named the 2023 Norma Dell ‘Courage to Care’ Award Recipient.

On November 14th, the Lenawee County Continuum of Care will be hosting an event as part of Homeless Awareness Month and at that time they will present the Award.

The Norma Dell “Courage to Care” award recognizes the efforts of an individual, couple or agency who has made extraordinary contributions toward alleviating homelessness in Lenawee County.

De’Angelo Boone has been a leader in City of Refuge Ministries International since 2006, starting the Adrian area ministry in 2014. De’Angelo developed the Meal Assistance Program of Lenawee utilizing a mobile application to quickly get food to people in the Adrian area.

De’Angelo helped to found the All About Adrian Resident Coalition through Habitat for Humanity in his previous role in NRI at H4H.

The event to honor him will be on Tuesday, November 14th, at 3:30pm at the Goodwill Headquarters located on Division Street in Adrian.
