Adrian, MI – Jim Van Doren has announced that he will be turning over day-by-day operations as Executive Director of Lenawee Now to Tim Robinson, Director of Operations, on an interim basis…effective immediately.
According to a statement issued to WLEN News, he will remain on as a consultant to a number of large projects at the federal, state, and local levels along with continuing his role working with Governmental Consultant Services, Incorporated… Lenawee Now’s lobbying firm.
In a statement to the Board of Directors, Van Doren said he is not stepping back due to recent controversial activity… saying that he was planning on announcing his retirement at the end of 2022.
Lenawee Now has recently lost two of its funding sources…dues from the Lenawee County Board of Commissioners and the City of Tecumseh.
