Monroe, MI – An unarmed robbery occurred at a gas station in Monroe early Sunday morning with the suspect still at large.
According to the Michigan State Police Monroe Post, the incident happened at the Circle K gas station on North Monroe Street at approximately 2:40am Sunday. A man wearing a black mask entered the gas station and demanded that the clerk give him all the money.
The clerk did not comply and the suspect jumped behind the counter, stole numerous packs of cigarettes and fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.
The individual is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 5, medium build and about 23 years old. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark colored pants and a black face mask.
