Adrian, MI – Associated Charities of Lenawee County is preparing for its annual ‘Back to School’ program to provide clothing, shoes, backpacks and school supplies to local children.
The distribution will run August 24th through 26th. Families must be pre-registered at the Charities before August 5th. Documentation of income eligibility, proof of residency and birth certificates for all children is required.
School clothing will be available at no cost to Lenawee County families with children enrolled in kindergarten through high school and are registered at Associated Charities. Children are not prohibited from accompanying their parents; however shopping will be less congested if children are not present. No strollers will be allowed, and masks must be worn.
The Charities are accepting donations of backpacks, school supplies, new socks and new underwear to help with the program. Monetary donations are also accepted.
