Why didn’t the tornado sirens go off in Riga prior to the confirmed EF-1 touched down Sunday night?
Lenawee County Emergency Management Coordinator Craig Tanis told WLEN News that the tornado did not show on the NWS radar, therefore no warning was issues so no sirens were activated.
