Tecumseh, MI – The strike that took place Tuesday morning outside of KIRCHHOFF Automotive between the company and the United Auto Workers Union was over that night, as the two sides have come to a tentative agreement.

UAW Local 3000 President Steve Gonzales told WLEN News that the membership plans to vote on the document early next week, and should be done by Tuesday.

Nathalia Abreu, Communications & Marketing Manager for KIRCHOFF Automotive, said in an email to WLEN News: “…we are pleased to have reached this tentative agreement… While the negotiation presented some challenges, both sides were focused in finding a mutually beneficial solution. We look forward to continuing to work together with the union and our employees as partners, while further asserting KIRCHHOFF Automotive’s position as a prime employer in our community.”
