Adrian, MI – The Lenawee County Health Department plans to add more COVID-19 vaccination options for residents as more Michiganders become eligible for them.

Lenawee County Health Officer Martha Hall told WLEN News that starting Monday, March 22nd, Michiganders age 50 and older will be eligible to receive a vaccine… along with individuals with disabilities or medical conditions age 16 and older. (Their caregiver or guardian will be eligible as well). Per State of Michigan guidance, Hall said that on April 5th, vaccination appointments will be opened up to anyone 16 and older.

Through the partnerships with the federal government, Meijer and Rite Aid (in Adrian) will be vaccinating eligible residents… in addition to the efforts by the Lenawee County Health Department and ProMedica.

Hall told WLEN News that Hudson Pharmacy will host a vaccination clinic, facilitated through the LCHD, on Saturday.

She said that through the great partnerships in Lenawee County, the Health Department is still able to administer their allocated COVID-19 vaccines to residents, and they are prepared to administer more if they state decides to send more per week.
