Adrian, MI – Gleaner Life Insurance Society has announced the recent promotion of two department vice presidents, Anthony D. “Tony” Golden and Jaime Linden. Golden was promoted to senior vice president of sales. Linden, who oversees the Member and Community Engagement Department (formerly known as the Fraternal Department), was elevated from assistant vice president.

Golden joined Gleaner Life in October of 2017 as director of distribution. He was promoted to assistant vice president of independent sales and distribution in April of 2018 and was promoted again to vice president six months later. A native of central Illinois, he began his career there and moved to Michigan in 1997. Along the way, he accumulated FIC, CLU, ChFC, RICP and CLF insurance designations.

“Tony has been responsible for building out our growing team of regional sales directors and directing the training and sales efforts of our independent agent advisors,” Gleaner Life President and CEO Kevin Marti explained. “Since Tony came on board, the Society has experienced significant growth in both its life insurance and annuity new business sales results.”

Golden enjoys working with fraternal organizations because, in addition to providing financial solutions, such groups serve the larger purpose of improving local communities.

“After more than three decades in the financial services industry,” Golden said, “I continue to be impressed with the positive culture of fraternal organizations and their relationship approach to serving members.”

Linden has worked at Gleaner since 2015 to assist members and the society’s service clubs, called arbors. She achieved her FIC designation and was promoted to assistant vice president in June of 2019. Prior to joining the Gleaner Home Office, she was an independent agent who handled Gleaner Life financial solutions for 15 years.

Linden has lived in Lenawee County for more than 20 years, coming from Battle Creek. She has two children. She also serves as secretary/treasurer of Maple City Arbor.

“Throughout this time, she has excelled in leadership, serving our members and arbors,” Marti added. “We are proud to announce her well-deserved promotion to vice president, Member and Community Engagement.”
