Madison Twp., Lenawee County – An incident that was initially reported as an attempted breaking and entering at a residence in Madison Township has been resolved.
On Thursday, November 19th, a press release was issued regarding two subjects attempting to break into a residence in the 3000 block of W. Beecher Road.
The Michigan State Police Monroe Post reports that after a thorough investigation, which included interviews with the homeowner and both subjects, it was determined that the subjects are contractors who were sent, by their employer, to check on a residence in that area. The subjects mistakenly went to the wrong location and were not trying to break into the residence.
