Adrian Police Investigating Two Instances of Possible Shots Fired

Adrian, MI – The Adrian Police Department is investigating two instances involving alleged shots being fired.

The first was in the area of McKenzie and Company Streets around Noon last Thursday. The APD reports that a single shot was fired from a light colored, full size SUV. Witnesses described a single occupant in the vehicle as a dark complected male around the age of 20 to 30. Police located a single 9 mm casing in the intersection.

On Sunday at around 11:50pm, the Adrian Police Department was dispatched to a fight involving more than 20 people near the intersection of Oak and Treat Streets. Witness accounts were that the large gathering in the street resulted in 3 suspects chasing a single suspect. The person being chased allegedly drew a handgun and fired. There were no victims or injured people located at the scene. The APD found several .45 caliber casings in the street.
