The Boys and Girls Club of Lenawee will be hosting ‘Stand Up, Speak Out’, an event to create youth-centered dialogue about bullying on Wednesday, April 17th.
There will be students from Adrian College, Adrian public schools and members of the Boys and Girls Club presenting at the event.
Haley Petrowski, and Adrian College student, will be speaking on the impact bullying has had in her life. She has spoken to lawmakers and was an advocate for the recent anti-cyberbullying law that passed in the State of Michigan.
This event is for all children ages 6 to 18. This event is free to public, but limited space is available.
The program starts at 4 pm and should last an hour. The Boys and Girls Club of Lenawee is located on East Church Street, in Adrian.
