ADRIAN– Darold Marc Kidd, 71, of Adrian, died Monday, May 20, 2024 surrounded by his family and under the care of Hospice of Lenawee at the hospice home.
He was born on December 15, 1952 to Elwyn and Helen (Fox) Kidd. Darold was a life long resident of Adrian and graduated from Adrian High School. On October 18, 1997 he married Christine Ann Morgan and she survives. He retired as a machine operator after for working for Tecumseh Products for many years. Darold enjoyed trips to the casino, dancing, listening to country music, fishing, watching wrestling and old westerns. Darold loved playing Santa Claus for many years at Tecumseh Products and other places around Lenawee County. Above all else, Darold treasured his parakeet Dewey.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Christine Kidd; step-daughters, Vikki (Steven) Schultz and Jenaca (Robert) Alcock; 4 grandchildren, Paige (Chris) Schultz, Bryce (Cassidy) Schultz, Caylob (Destiny) Alcock and Dalton (Zoie) Alcock; 3 great-grandchildren, Jenevieve Alcock, Haisley Alcock and Ryver Mozena, and 6 siblings.
A Celebration of Life for Darold will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Morenci American Legion, 9010 Morenci Road, Morenci, MI 49256.
