Adrian, MI – Kohl’s announced on Friday that they are closing an E-commerce Distribution Center in California this year, and are shuttering 27 underperforming locations nationwide by April…but Lenawee County’s location will remain open.
The store continues to believe in the health and strength of its profitable store base.
Kohl’s says that all associates have been informed, and offered a competitive severance package or the ability to apply to other open roles at Kohl’s. Kohl’s thanks their associates for their work and is working to support our associates during this transition.
Current CEO, Tom Kingsbury, said: “We always take these decisions very seriously. As we continue to build on our long-term growth strategy, it is important that we also take difficult but necessary actions to support the health and future of our business for our customers and our teams.”
The Kohl’s location on US 223 just outside of Adrian will remain open.
