
Douglas P. Meredith, 61, of Hudson, died January 5, 2025. He was born August 19, 1963, to the late Leo A. and Dorothy L. (Durling) Meredith.
Douglas was a long-time busboy at the Lenawee Country Club. Previously, he attended the LISD Porter Center and was an active member of the Hope Community Center in Adrian. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Douglas loved watching sports of all kinds, especially WWE Wrestling. He also enjoyed traveling and going to the movies. Doug was a competitor at heart playing basketball at the Hope Center and competing in swimming and bowling in the Special Olympics.

Surviving Douglas are his siblings, Leo Thomas Meredith, and Dennis Meredith; Nadine (Ronald) Klebba, and Elaine Dew, brother-in-law Dana Osburn; sister- in-law Chris Meredith; along with many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Douglas was preceded in death by a brother Charles Meredith a sister, Colleen Osburn.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Douglas will be offered on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hudson with Father Todd Koenigsknecht celebrating. A burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Hudson. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Thursday, from 3-7 p.m. at Eagle Marry Funeral Home in Hudson and one hour prior to the mass at church Friday. A rosary will be prayed at the funeral home on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Eagle Marry Funeral Home in Hudson.
