Ygnacio Ramonez, Jr., age 65, of Adrian, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024, surrounded by his loving family at ProMedica Charles and Virginia Hickman Hospital. Born on April 22, 1959, in Adrian, Michigan, to Ygnacio and Rosa Ramonez, he spent his life rooted in the values of family, faith, and service to others.

On September 13, 1980, Ygnacio married Arlene Rosas in Adrian. Together they built a loving family and celebrated over 44 wonderful years together. He cherished every moment spent with his children and grandchildren as his family was the center of his world and brought him happiness throughout his life.

Ygnacio worked as a truck driver for Modern Waste, dedicating himself to his profession with diligence and commitment. Outside of work, he found fulfillment in attending services at Restore World Church, where his faith was an integral part of his life. Known for his generous spirit, Ygnacio was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. His legacy is one of love, kindness, and devotion to family.

To cherish his memory, Ygnacio leaves his loving wife, Arlene; four children: Crystal Rosas, Roxanne Rosas, Angel Ramirez, and Adam Ramirez; 18 grandchildren; one great grandchild; six siblings: Alex Ruiz, Juana Gonzalez, Dolores Hamilton, Jesusa Arnett, Patricio Ramonez, and Cruz Ramonez; and many nieces and nephews. Ygnacio is preceded in death by his parents, Ygnacio and Rosa Ramonez; a son, Steve Ramirez; and four siblings, Juan Ramonez, Lupe Casanova, Emilia Ramonez, and Pedro Ramonez.

The family will receive friends for visitation at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian, on Friday, January 10, 2025, from 11:00 am until the funeral service begins at 1:00 pm. Pastor Claude Bevier will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Adrian.
