Rosemary Gagneur, age 89, passed away December 26, 2024
at Tecumseh Place, Tecumseh, Michigan.
She was born April 27, 1935, in Bevinsville, KY, the daughter of Phillip and Rachel (Hall) Isaac. On August 29, 1953, she married Richard Gagneur at St. Michael Catholic Church, Livonia, Michigan. He preceded her in death on July 21, 2020.
Rose was an active of member St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Wayne, MI. She loved her cats, hummingbirds, and her garden. Family was first and foremost in Rose’s life. She was a longtime employee and volunteer at the former Saline Community Hospital.
She is survived by her three sons, John (Debra) Gagneur, Ray Gagneur, and Marty (Janet) Gagneur; 9 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband Richard, she was preceded in death by her parents,
and four brothers, Artel, Earl, Leroy, and Phillip Isaac.
A Mass of the Christian burial will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at
Purse & Son Funeral Home, Tecumseh, Michigan with Fr. Francisco Radecki officiating. Burial will follow at St. Dominic Cemetery, Clinton, Michigan
Visitation will also take place on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at Purse & Son Funeral, Tecumseh, Michigan, from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral mass.
Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
