Elena Gonzales Keyzer-Andre, age 87, of Clinton, MI, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Trinity Health Livonia Hospital. She was born on August 18, 1937 in Pinamalayan, Philippines the daughter of the late Vicente and Maria Dimalibot Pesigan. Elena graduated with a Masters degree in Pharmacy from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines. She worked for 39 years as a Medical Technologist at various hospitals before retiring in 2002. She attended St. Dominic Catholic Church for many years and loved crocheting and was known as a great seamstress. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchild, Jocelyn.
Elena is survived by her son, Greg Keyzer-Andre of Clinton; a sister, Isabel Pesigan of Clinton; a grandchild, Jocelyn Keyzer-Andre of Pennsylvania and several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, James Keyzer-Andre, two sisters and one brother.
A funeral mass for Elena will be held at 12pm Monday, December 30, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 11am until the time of the mass at the church. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
