Dianna Rae Heselschwerdt, age 61, of Canandaigua, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at home under the compassionate care of Hospice of Lenawee. She was born on September 28, 1963, in Temperance, Michigan to Donald and Jerry (Gramer) Denig.
Dianna was a proud wife, mom, and grandma, and she cherished every moment with her family. When she wasn’t taking care of her own family, Dianna could be found caring for others at her daycare called Dian’s Daycare. She had a deep love for animals and was a nature lover who enjoyed fishing. She was also strong in her faith and enjoyed being a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hudson.
To cherish her memory, Dianna leaves her husband, Richard Heselschwerdt; six children: Sarah (Nicholis) DuBois, Jessica Webb, Ryan (Kalena) Robinson, Jerred Heselschwerdt, Troy Heselschwerdt, and Cory Heselschwerdt; her mother, Jerry Denig; 12 grandchildren: Nash Shaffer, Nolan Shaffer, Judson Webb, Jones Webb, Evelyn DuBois, Aris DuBois, Wyatt Robinson, Branson Robinson, Kennedy Robinson, Zander Heselschwerdt, Ella Heselschwerdt, and Wyatt Heselschwerdt; and five siblings: Peggy, Mike, Don, Dan, and Matt Denig. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Denig, and a brother, Jacque Denig.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm. A celebration of life will immediately follow, beginning at 2:00 pm with Fr. Todd Koenigsknecht officiating. Burial will follow in Canandaigua Cemetery.
