Ridgeway Twp., MI – The Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office reports that they responded to a residence in the 8000 Block of E M 50 at approximately 6pm Tuesday for a report of a shooting.
According to Sheriff’s Deputies, a 50-year-old male owner of the residence was believed to have discharged a firearm at the 34-year-old male, after the subject let himself into the house and began assaulting the homeowner. Prior to Deputies’ arrival, the male subject who was injured had left the area in a vehicle.
The subject was later located at a Toledo area hospital where he is being treated for a single gunshot wound to the abdomen, and is in critical but stable condition. The investigation is ongoing. LCSO says that this was an isolated incident, and there are no further threats to the public.
The Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Tecumseh Police Department and the Michigan State Police.

Ridgeway, MI – The Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Tuesday night shooting in Ridgeway. Sheriff Troy Bevier told WLEN News Tuesday night that there is no threat to the public, and that the parties knew each other.
Bevier said that the Sheriff’s Office will release more information to the public today.
