Kathryn Ann (Kay) Blair, 76, of Adrian, Michigan, passed away December 7th, 2024 in the care of Hospice. Kay was born July 23, 1948 in Jackson, MI to Richard and Mary (Fishmeister) Riley. She attended and graduated from Jackson High in 1966. On November 9th, 1968 she married Darrel Blair in Adrian, MI. Together they have two daughters- Delee Blair and Sheila Young, both of Adrian. She went on to work for Madison Schools as a Teachers aid, amongst other roles for 25 years, retiring in 2012. Kay loved trying her luck on scratch off lotto-tickets, playing cards with her friends, and watching sports; namely U of M football and basketball, in addition to the Detroit Lions. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Kay is survived by Darrel and her daughters – Delee and Sheila, grandchildren Davon Dillard (Chandra Lape), Tyrell (Alexandria) Blair, Reese Dillard, and honorary granddaughter April Warner. Great grandchildren John and Orion Dillard. She was proceeded in death by her parents, her brother Ken Lampart and sister Marion Crowden, and beloved son-in law James Young. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at Hope Lutheran Church (5625 US 223, Adrian, MI) on January 25, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. www.PurseFuneralHome.com
