Tecumseh Mayor Jack Baker Celebrated Ahead of Retirement

Tecumseh, MI – Retiring Mayor of Tecumseh Jack Baker was honored at his last City Council meeting with a proclamation read by Mayor Pro-Tem Vicki Riddle.

Baker’s tenure will officially conclude upon the swearing-in of the new Mayor.

Jack’s son, Matthew, was at Monday night’s City Council meeting to announce a donation of $20,000 to be split between the Tecumseh police and fire departments. Matthew Baker, a former employee of the CIA who now lives in Miami Beach, was at the meeting to honor his father’s retirement, and to recognize his hometown.
