Clifford L. Delaney, age 78, passed away Monday, October 28, 2024, in Wauseon, Ohio, at Ayden Healthcare. Clifford was born April 23, 1946, in Coldwater to parents Renford and Helen (Spencer) Delaney. They precede him in death.
Clifford served his country in the United States Navy and occasionally worked at Delaney’s Bar in Hudson, which was owned by his parents at the time. Those closest to Clifford know he could be ornery and sarcastic at times. He loved tractors and animals and enjoyed working outside doing things such as mowing.
Clifford is survived by three sons, Rick (Penny), Michael, and Patrick Delaney; Fifteen grandchildren; Many great-grandchildren; and Sister Linda (Bob) Deck. As well as his parents, Clifford is preceded in death by brothers Richard and Lamar Delaney, and sister Nancy Tanner.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
