Adrian, MI – The district-wide LEGO robotics club appeared at Monday night’s meeting of the Adrian Public Schools Board of Education. In a presentation led by the team’s coach, Trisha Fisher, the team shared their story with the board and even showed off some of their LEGO creations, ahead of their competition at Columbia Central High School in December.
While the program started at Michener Elementary, Fisher credited Josh Smith, a robotics teacher at Adrian High School, with the decision to make the team district-wide.
Superintendent Nate Parker was impressed with the presentation, and told WLEN News about the value he sees in the team…
Superintendent Parker invited the team back to attend the board’s January meeting after their competition.
