Ray L. O’Berry, passed away October 13, 2024 in Flint, Michigan, due to complications from a brain aneurysm. He fought hard for almost two years to recover from the devastating aftermath. Ray was 64 years old. Ray’s passion was antique and vintage vehicles. After 50 years of being a mechanic, including being a Cadillac Specialist, he still loved working on cars. Ray was also an ordained reverend, and officiated the weddings for two of his sons. Ray was also a licensed and bonded locksmith, gunsmith, clockwork, and notary public. Ray cared for all people; friends, family, and even people he didn’t know. If anyone he crossed paths with needed anything he could provide, he did with gladness in his heart. Ray had the integrity of a saint, and was a true protector. He will be missed by many. Preceding him in death are his parents, Delores and Joe Guerrero, his sister, Doreen, his son Nathan, and extended family members. Left to honor his memory and live his legacy are his loving wife, Melissa, his sons James (Nichole), Michael, and Allen, six stepchildren, David, Alaina, Phoenix, Faith, Crismas, and Donald, ten grandchildren Dwayne, Jared, Mckenzie, Kayla (Zack), Ashley, Monique, Kyah, Isaiah, Nova, Chevelle, three great grandchildren Addyson, Kayden, Ace, and innumerable friends and family.
