Gregory Lynn Betz, age 69, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. He was born to Donald and Mary (Bills) Betz, Sr. on June 17, 1955, in Adrian, Michigan.
After graduating from high school, Greg went to work as a linesman and master tech for the phone service. He was an active member of the Eagles Club of Adrian and past firefighter on the Madison Fire Department. Greg was a man of faith and a proud member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved going camping, snowmobiling, and deer hunting.
Left to honor the memory of Greg are his sons, Cory (Joshina) Betz, Sean (Julie) Betz, brothers,
Donald (Donna) Betz, Jr., Charles Betz, Jeffrey (Brenda) Betz, sister-in-law, Monica Betz; and eight grandchildren, Lainey, Michael, Maddox, Madison, Andrew, Allison, Mason, and Samuel. Preceding him in death are his parents, brother Doug Betz and sister, Vickie Betz.
Memorial visitation for Greg will be on Monday, October 28, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home in Adrian and also from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Memorial services will be at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home on October 29, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jamie Driscoll officiating. Burial of cremains will be at a later date.
