ROBERT A. CARR, age 73 years of Hudson, passed away at his home on October 16, 2024, in Hudson. He was born on December 21, 1950, in Adrian, the son of George and Betty (Myers) Carr.
Bob married Karen Durling on September 3, 1993, and she survives. Also surviving are daughters, Bobbie (Joe) Lewis and Jessica (Aaron) Ross; sons, Jason Carr, Joshua Goodlock and Jacob (Yvonne) Goodlock; 13 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, mother and father-in-law, Vicki and Gary Durling, sisters, Carol (Terry) Collins, Cheryl (David) Rock and Vicki Van Opynen; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, step mother, Mary Carr, brother, Gary Carr and brother-in-law, Dick Van Opynen.
Funeral Services for Bob will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, October 18, 2024, at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home in Hudson with Pastor Bill Van Vaulkenburg officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Hudson with full military honors conducted by Hannan-Colvin Post #180 of Hudson. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until time of service.
