Adrian, MI – The Lenawee Historical Museum has announced that the Laura Haviland statue at the intersection of Main and Church Streets in Adrian will be illuminated after a ground-level light is installed.
The monthly newsletter issued by the Museum said that this light will give the statue, and Haviland, the honor that she deserves. Laura Haviland was an abolitionist, suffragette, social reformer, and an important figure in the history of the Underground Railroad.
