Violet Johan Hall – Clinton

Violet Johan Hall, age 87, of Clinton, MI, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at the Hospice of Lenawee Home. She was born on April 25, 1937 in Ypsilanti, MI, the daughter of the late Alva Ezra and Florabell (Dailey) Harris. After graduating high school, Violet was joined in marriage to Donald D. Hall, and he preceded her in death in 1997. She worked as a medical secretary both in private practice as well as at the University of Michigan.

Violet was very much involved with her family and she also enjoyed many other activities and interests. She especially loved her sports, which included bowling, following the Detroit Tigers and Lions, as well as University of Michigan football. You could always interest her in board games, particularly Yahtzee and any card game.

Violet is survived by her son, Ricky (Debbie) Hall; daughters, Linda Julio, Pam (Emory) Mulholland, Leslie (Rick) Kyle; her sister-in-law, Barb Winkle; thirteen grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren, with one on the way; and five great-great-grandchildren, also with one on the way.

In addition to her husband and parents, Violet was preceded in death by a sister and brothers.

Funeral Services for Violet will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday October 16 2024 at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes with Chaplain Bobby Baum officiating. Visitation will precede the service from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm. Inurnment will take place in Washtenong Memorial Park in Ann Arbor MI.
