Carl Richard LaForest, age 81, formerly of Hudson, died Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Christ Centered Homes in Tecumseh, while in the care of Hospice of Lenawee. He was born August 10, 1943, in Hudson, the son of Alton and Louise (Johnston) LaForest.
Catholic by faith, Carl was a lifelong parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hudson.
Surviving are two brothers, Alton (Marie)LaForest of Twinsburg, OH and David LaForest of Hudson.
Carol is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Pat.
A funeral mass for Carl will be celebrated by Father Todd Koenigsknecht on Wednesday September 25 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hudson. Rite of Committal will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation at the church from 10:00 am until 11:00 am before mass begins.
